Dates for the next season September 2010 to April 2011 to be announced.

Work Parties

Work parties are organised from late September to early April each year and include general clearance and monitoring work as appropriate. Whilst all parties are dependent on weather most work goes ahead as planned. The tasks carried out are as specified in the Heath Management Plan.

We meet at either the Little School Car Park in Heath Road, or the Sussex Road Car Park, at 10 a.m. The sessions last for about 3 hours (we do stop for breaks and tea!)

You should bring waterproof/windproof clothing, good strong gloves & protective footwear/boots. If you also have suitable tools such as shears, small saws, bill-hooks, loppers, or spades these will be useful to you.

The best thing to do is come along and watch/participate and enjoy The Heath.
